Mass Digitisation with the robotic book scanner ScanRobot®
TREVENTUS attented the
Digital Forum of Central and Eastern Europe (DiFMOE) and presented its
its robotic book scanner
ScanRobot® SR301.
The theme of this event was Digital Collections of Source Books and the
venue was the university library in Bratislava.
The aim of the forum was to be a platform for the libraries for
networking and joint discussion on future developments.
So there were many interesting lectures on the field of digital
libraries and the latest developments in the field of libraries
and digitization.
TREVENTUS was represented in this
series of lectures by Mr. Stephan Tratter,
CCO of TREVENTUS, with a presentation about
"Robotic mass digitisation".
In his speech, Mr Tratter spoke about the experience of Treventus
and its customers in the field of automated mass digitalisation.
Emphasis was given to the difference between speed and throughput,
as well as arguments for the automated scanning with the robotic
book scanner
ScanRobot®.
The current development of a digitization - workflow - software was
also topic of the speech.
For TREVENTUS the DiFMOE was a
successful event since existing contacts with potential customers
could be deepened.
