The first two ScanRobots™ of the Bavarian State Library have been put into operation in October 2007. By now there are 3 ScanRobots™, which are operated in shift operation, in use.

The Munich Digitisation Centre is currently digitising mainly books from the 16th century.

The Bavarian State Library is also partner of the Google book search project and is going to scan more than a million books during the next years.

The Digitization Center Göttingen is using a ScanRobot™ since January 2008. Currently books from the 18th - 20th century are scanned fast, gently and free from distortions.

The Digitization Center Göttingen and Treventus were also invited from the state of lower saxon to present the innovative bookscanner ScanRobot™ at their CeBit booth in 2008.

Innsbruck University Library

The first ScanRobot™ in Austria has been put into operation in February 2008. The Innsbruck University Library uses it to digitise books from the 19th - 21st century.

The Innsbruck University Library participates in several digitisation projects and the ScanRobot™ will help to lower scanning times dramatically.

Graz University Library

Also the Graz University Library uses the patented technology from Treventus. In March 2008 a ScanRobot™ for the digitising of books from the 18th - 21st century has been put into operation.

Currently the Graz University Library has about 600,000 pages digitised, but with the use of the automatic bookscanner ScanRobot™ this number will increase much faster now.
